this is simply a long piece of cloth. it may have said that in the description and reviews and frankly I just liked the price and the positive star rating and purchased it, however, your child can never do this on their own. you have to take the long, I mean LONG piece of cloth and wrap and wrap to make the carrier, so if my daughter ever wanted to use it (and she doesn't since she likes to do everything herself) during her childhood (even an adult would have a challenge on their own), I would have to help her do it. And you know children, play with it one second, off to something else the next, and so this doesn't work as a good toy carrier because you really need commitment to do this and use it for a while or it just wouldn't be worth the effort. Women that are Moby lovers, would probably like this for their daughters and understandably so, but I'm more a babybjorn person, and ended up getting a carrier like that for my daughter which she loves and used throughout the day, every day.

I purchased this for a Birthday Party and was so excited. The product arrived, I placed it in the gift bag and headed out. It wasn't until the child opened the present that we realized we had been sent the blanket instead. Try telling a 3 y/o she has to wait! Amazon was great and did send the right gift but it was rather embarrassing until it all got worked out. So the 3 stars is for the wrong product not the actual product!

Based on the reviews, I thought this would be just like a grown up Moby, which I regularly use, but when I got it -- it was a square piece of fabric with a matching hat. You can't wrap with a square. The regular Moby is a long piece of cloth -- however, perhaps I got the blanket by mistake? I ordered from one of the other sellers, not Amazon -- so I will try to get one from Amazon this time.
