This multi tool is kinda minimalist. Screwdriver, knife, Pliers, wire cutter, bottle opener. That will solve most unexpected quick fix situations. But the greatest feature of this tool is that you can carry comfortably every day in your pocket or belt since is very light and slim which make it even more useful. If you don't want to wear your multi-tool always, doesn't matter how many X-in-one has, it will be useless.
The only down it has is that is not stainless steel. It is sold as having a harder steel which I can testify is really noticeable. Everything goes like butter: ropes, wood, leather, plastics, and still can shave hair. Is that sharp. If you keep it dry and clean it will resist stains.
If you care about small stains you can try the cheaper equivalent in proper stainless steel.

There's definitely something to be said about things that are very well made. It's obvious after a few minutes with the tool in your hand, the amount of care and attention to detail that has evolved and made this possible. Best materials and built you could ask for. I want another one...

I own a sign company and everyday we produce and install signs of all kinds. I have owned a few multitools over the years, but this is the best. Specifcally for daily use in a work or home enviroment. I had the regular skeletool for a couple of years and unfortunately misplaced it. The Cx has an amazingly sharp knife that holds up well to cutting materials such as cardboard, rope and even plastic.
Its light enough for my pocket yet strong enough to handle the twisting and turning that come with pliers and screwdriver type work. Its looks great and feels balanced in my hand. Its a well built long lasting product.

Key User Features
The Skeletool CX has a large straight knife blade that can be accessed while the tool is closed; to open it, just place your thumb in the thumbhole at the base of the blade and rotate it out until it's fully extended -- which will engage the safety lock. This locking mechanism is noted with a padlock symbol on the tool. To unlock the blade, press the locking mechanism towards the handle until the blade slides past the lock.
Equipped with a universal bit driver, the Skeletool offers real utility options like no other multitool. To change the tool bits, simply unfold the tool and remove the bit from the bit driver -- and pop it out. And replacing bits is just as easy. Just press a new one into position and you're good to go. There's even a spare bit located in the handle side opposite the knife blade. This tool includes the following bits: Phillips #1 and #2, screwdriver 3/16-inch and 1/4-inch.
In the plier jaws you'll find a hard-wire cutter and a regular wire cutter. The regular wire cutter is great for softer grades of wire, but the hard-wire cutter is excellent for heavier jobs -- like cutting and bending fishhooks.
